Although a career firefighter for 16 years in Upper Darby, PA, I have many years experience in woodworking. Before joining the department, I operated a remodeling/construction business specializing in additions, window and door replacements, and basement renovations. I always thought that woodworking would be part of my retirement years and began exploring different disciplines to see where my interests lie. In addition to taking woodturning classes I have studied “flatwork” with J. D Lohr and at the Philadelphia Furniture workshop. Most importantly, I have been married for almost 40 years to my high school sweetheart; I am the father of three sons and pop pop to Maura, Evan, Jack, Ryan, Justin & Christopher. |
