About My Work

I have been exploring the art of woodturning since 2004, working with a variety of forms, including natural and finished-edged bowls, lidded boxes, platters and Christmas tree ornaments.  With many years of experience in the construction industry, wood and trees have taken on a whole new meaning and every turning session has it surprises.

I enjoy working with new and different woods and waiting for the piece to “speak to me” and have studied with David Ellsworth and Michael Kehs.

Currently serving as vice president of the Del Val Woodturners of Haddonfield, NJ, I am also a member of the American Association of Woodturners. I enjoy participating in the Del Val Woodturners HOW (Hands on Workshops) program and appreciate leaning new forms and techniques from my fellow woodturners.

In 2007 and 2008 I was pleased to have my woodturnings exhibited at the Perkins Center, Collingwood, NJ annual Wood and Clay Show.
